Okay… picking my three candidates out of the 4.68 million people.
Sitting to my left at Canteen 1 after lunch hour were two girls with very long manes. One was wearing a white top and the a black one for the other. What a nice contrast. Both of them are sharing the same notebook, ogling in front of the screen. I have no idea what they were looking at, but every now and then, they will break out into hysterical laughs. And one even claimed “Oh! So cute”. So, I’m guessing that they were either blog surfing (for guys) or watching videos from youtube. I’m wondering why they had the time to laze around the canteen. Noticing their slouched sitting positions and crazy talk, they must had already finished their work or waiting for the next lecture to start. After a while, they begin typing and discussing some relevant school stuff. They might also be doing a school assignment. Their giggling, poking and slapping are really kind of funny to watch. Maybe they are not in a hurry to complete it as they can sing along and discussing about the songs playing on radio heatwave.
A few moments passed and the both girls went really quiet. It seems that they are really cracking their brains to finish the assignment. The girl in white slammed a pile of notes on the table and let out a sigh of frustration. The other was grabbing her hair. Maybe the submission time was at 5 o’clock and they’re rushing to get the assignment done…
Okay, the lucky third person. A guy I observed earlier that day…
This guy in blue collared, rolled up long sleeved shirt and tailored pants boarded the bus and took the seat in front of me. A overpowering scent of mixed cologne and cigarette smell only pointed out that he must be observed! He was not having earphones on which was quite odd, as I noticed every other white-collar workers always had them plugged in during the early mornings. All he did was stare out of the window until a lady came to occupy the seat next to him. He took a quick glance at her legs. He must be a visually inclined person. Later, she flipped open the Today paper and he stole another look. I’m guessing he turned away because she was not reading the sports section, but a piece of article relating to the Students’ Olympics. It might be a stereotype that guys only read the sports news. He continued staring out of the window… And I had to get of the bus.
Miki Elliot – 200 River Valley Rd #12-26
Tan Siew Chong – Blk 116 Jurong East St 18 #09-764
Miki goes up to Siew Chong (SC) and gives her a slap.
“What was that for!”, screams SC. She has no idea what was going on. Miki’s actions are always unpredictable. Her eccentricity induces much frustration from her friend every time.
“Oi! No way! How could you”?! It’s evident that Miki’s quest to get what she wants is unstoppable.
” Damn it, you mothaf”- SC scowled back. Tension is rising high.
Both girls are now having a face off. “Tell me what you want!”, SC snapped at Miki.
“I give up!”, SC said with a sigh as she slammed the game console at the table in front of her.
